TESTIMONIALS
Hazel cottage is absolutely brilliant, so clean and comfortable and had everything there ready. Location is very private with fantastic views and blissful peace. We had our six year-old with us and the house is perfect for kids of all ages. Maria was a fantastic host. She had prepared scones with butter and jam on the table when we arrived and was very helpful throughout our stay. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Hazel Cottage is the most idyllic location that you can imagine. Every morning just waking up and looking out the windows at the flowers and the horses across the driveway made us all smile. I went with my teenage children and they loved it as well. My 14 year old son was very interested in the cows and Maria was generous enough to let us come up and see them being milked and her son even let him help out 🙂 The cottage is clean and has everything you need. The beds are comfy as is the bedding. Maria is a wonderful host and was happy to be of help when needed.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. We arrived to a clean house with homemade scones waiting for us which were delicious! The house was quite spacious and held all six of us comfortably, we loved gathering in the living room in the evenings and working on crossword puzzles in a book left for visitors. We made day trips and had James and Maria's house as our base.We had a day in Cork with Blarney Castle, a day at the Cliffs of Moher, and our final day was spent in Adare upon Maria's suggestion and we all had a wonderful time. We would love to come back again!

This cottage was a perfect place for our girls trip to Ireland! It is located in the quiet countryside and it was nice to unplug and unwind but is near the airport and within a 1-2 hour drive in any direction. There is plenty to do and see as far as Irish history and culture is concerned. The cottage offered everything we needed for the week and then some, all we needed to do was pick up a few groceries, everything else was covered. Would love to come back and stay again and explore even more around the area! Jim & Maria were amazing hosts!
